Walking has to one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to get some exercise either alone or with a friend. This is a great place to either start or to incorporate into your program to get weight loss fast. It involves the whole body, and therefore lots of muscles that will be burning calories both during the walk and for some time after.  

Anything you can do to incorporate the larger muscles of your body will help you achieve your goals. The leg muscles make up a substantial part of your weight and if you can get them working then you are going to get weight loss fast.

Belly fat is one of the hardest areas to reduce as it is ideally suited to storing those extra calories, especially in men. How-ever the ab muscles are small in relation to the arms and legs and so it is these muscles you need to concentrate on to get rid of that stubborn fat.

Walking is relatively low impact also and so there is less likely to be injury to tendons and joints than running, or some other more vigorous activity. How-ever you can incorporate your walk into a game of golf, or a stroll down the beach, or up the ante a little with tennis, or soccer once you feel fit enough to do so. All of these activities work the larger muscle groups and will help you burn calories and help you to get weight loss fast. 

If you would like to double the impact of your walk then look at what you are eating. If you can eat more fruit it will make you feel fuller for longer. Try and avoid the big meal just before dinner when your body is going to go into sleep mode and start storing. 

Eat small regular meals incorporating lots of vegetables, but avoid the thought of missing a meal out all together as your body is likely to compensate for the lack of food by hanging on to calories. 

While on the subject of small, eat small mouthfuls and take your time with your meal, it takes a while for your body to register that it is full. 

Try not to race out the door without breakfast, as this is what starts the motor running in your body and will get you on to the path of weight loss fast. 

Finally keep that water intake up, it keeps the body hydrated and functioning correctly, and it will also take away some of those hunger pangs so that you can make it to the next meal without snacking.
